Do you work with a CAI homeowner member who demonstrates outstanding contributions to CAI, their association, and to the surrounding community? Please consider nominating them for the Outstanding Homeowner Leader Award. Let’s recognize our homeowner leaders in 2021!

Nominees should be committed to, and clearly understand their role and fiduciary responsibility as a community volunteer. Some of the qualities we are looking for (but not all are required) when considering the award are:

  1. Has the person chosen to be a leader in their community, serving on the association board or committees, or volunteering for special projects?
  2. Has the person set themselves apart from other volunteers by continuing to educate themselves through industry programs?
  3. Does the person illustrate leadership, such as cooperation with CAI, association board members, working with management, other homeowners, and business partners within the association industry?
  4. Is the person considered to be a positive role model and leader for community volunteers within the industry?

Nominations must be made by someone who has worked with the homeowner for a minimum of 2 years and should outline why they feel the homeowner should receive the award.

The Outstanding Homeowner Leader Award is given annually at the Excellence Awards and Winter Gala, which will be held November 12, 2021. The winning nominee will receive 2 free tickets to the event and the nominating management company will be recognized as having an Outstanding Homeowner Leader in their community. Nomination forms are due September 1, 2021 and can be found on the chapter website at https://www.cai-illinois.org/about-cai/awards-and-honors/. Help us recognize homeowner volunteers who promote excellence in their associations.
