Obtain your Community Association Manager (CAM) license by completing the following steps.
- Complete 20 hours of pre-license education. The M-100 Course satisfies this requirement. This course can be taken on-line or in a classroom setting. (See the CAI-IL Calendar for scheduled classroom dates)
- Contact CAM-ICB at 703-970-9330 or [email protected] to register for the CMCA test, which is one of the State-approved licensing examinations. (This test is approved as the State test for Manager Licensing) The CMCA Application can be found in the CMCA Booklet.
- For those who would like additional study before taking the test, please check the Illinois Chapters’ Event Calendar to see if the Chapter has a CMCA Review course available.
- Once you have passed the CMCA test, complete the IL Community Association Manager Licensing Application and submit it, along with the associated fees, to the Illinois Dept. of Financial & Professional Regulation.
