Mark A.

Mark Waldman is the founder and President of Waldman Engineering Consultants, Inc. Mark is a 1982 and 1984 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering, respectively. He is a registered Professional Engineer and a registered Structural Engineer in the State of Illinois with twenty years of engineering and design and construction experience.

Mark also recently became a LEED Accredited Professional (AP), as designated by the U.S. Green Building Council and administrated through the Green Building Certification Institute. LEED APs possess a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as the LEED Rating System.

Mark has completed numerous technical problem-solving and reserve studies for Illinois condominium associations. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He authored a technical paper on Lifetime Capital Reserve Studies that was published in the Technical Journal of the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers, 1995.

Mark also regularly attends technical courses on roof maintenance and repair as provided by the National Roofing Contractors Association, as well as other professional courses on building design and construction.
