Katy

Katy joined the Phoenix Rising Management team in late 2014, as a Community Manager with a portfolio of eight properties. Very quickly, Katy earned her CMCA certification and state licensure as a Community Manager. She brought years of experience from her time in the fields of Higher Education Administration and Hospitality Management. Katy was promoted to the Team Leader position in January 2016, and to the role of Director in June 2017. Katy earned her AMS certification (Association Management Specialist) in May 2017. In addition to building the Phoenix Rising brand and working with new clients, Katy develops training programs for the staff.

Katy enjoys her work in property management as it allows her the possibility to think critically, problem-solve, participate as a member of a larger team, and always learn something new! Outside of community management Katy enjoys taking advantage of the City, working out, cooking, and planning her next travel adventure.
