In this session after the 2024 Conference & Expo, Ruth Ingoldsby CMCA®, EBP from Vote HOA Now and Elizabeth Sokacich CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM® from FirstService Residential will provide insights and recommended best practices to achieve a successful transition to electronic voting.

With so many technology options, how do boards and managers navigate all of today’s choices for electronic voting? In this class we will discuss the different service levels, advantages, and disadvantages of each. Who should be involved in set up, reporting and the results. Using state statutes and documents to guide us in protecting all parties involved, we discuss the integrity of the vote and responding to any challenges. Lastly, commitment to the transition from paper to electronic looking at all the tools available to increase owner engagement. Throughout this class we will have insight from an experienced manager who has gone through the e-voting process from start to finish!
