CAI-Illinois was excited to participate in the 10th Annual Seniorpalooza, hosted by the North Suburban YMCA. This was our first time participating in this community outreach event, and we’re happy to report it was a great success!
A special thank you to Diane Pagoulatos from the CAI-Illinois Homeowner Education Committee and Melanie Petrow from the CAI-Illinois Community Relations Committee for volunteering their time and representing CAI-Illinois.
More than 250 people attended Seniorpalooza, which featured over 60 vendors offering education, services, and resources specifically for seniors. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to speak with many homeowners who live in community associations throughout the north suburban area.
Many of the homeowners we met were not familiar with CAI and were excited to learn about the organization and the resources available to them. We shared information about CAI-Illinois homeowner education programs, explained the Dedicated Community Association Leader (DCAL) program, and invited homeowners to learn more at the 2027 Condo-HOA Conference & Expo.
We are grateful for opportunities like Seniorpalooza that allow us to expand CAI-Illinois’ reach and connect with homeowners who may not otherwise know about the education and support available to them.
