Illinois Legislative Action Committee


The Illinois Legislative Action Committee represents the interests of Community Associations in Springfield and Washington DC. This Committee is responsible for identifying legislative issues of importance to Common Interest Communities. This includes local, regional, statewide, and federal legislation. The committee also monitors legislation and helps the Chapter set specific issue priorities.

  • See a list and a summary of pending legislation that can affect community associations in Illinois. Let us know what your thoughts are by sending an email or letter to CAI. Be sure to include your name, address, and involvement with associations (example: Homeowner, Board Member, manager, service provider, etc.)
