Administrative Assistant in Property Management

Employment type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 

A fast-paced, busy property management company is seeking a full-time customer service driven administrative person to assist our portfolio Property Managers and Boards. A CAM license is not necessary however, this is a perfect opportunity for a newly licensed CAM to parlay into managing properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Routinely send communications via email and mail to owners and Board members.
    Pro-actively respond to issues as they arise. Compose letters and emails as needed.
  • Be a point of contact for owners and provide follow-up to their inquiries.
  • Take direction from assigned Property Managers regarding projects, including but not limited to scheduling with vendors, scheduling move-in and move-outs, adjusting owner ledgers, creating monthly financials, updating databases and documentation.
  • Assist with answering phones when necessary.
  • Occasionally travel to buildings. 
  • On a very limited basis, attend paid weeknight Board meetings with Property Manager.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated, have excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
    Be a team player who can work with various personalities, enjoy problem solving, and helping people. 
  • Organized, detail oriented with ability to multitask. 
  • High-school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus. 
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.
  • Occasional paid evening hours
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Word, Outlook, and some Excel


A hybrid work schedule is possible after initial training and acclimation period. Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Health and dental insurance available.
